Amy Wilder Files’s (b.1977) artwork explores the juxtaposition of natural materials and designed forms. Using simple compositions to orchestrate stillness and mood, her work is mostly quiet and contemplative. She holds an BFA from the Massachusetts College of Art & Design and a BA from the Boston University.

Files is part of the Lincoln Street Center for the Arts. Lincoln Street Center is home to a community of artists, providing a space for artists of all career levels an opportunity to connect, collaborate and create. She currently lives and works in Rockland, Maine.
